Lab Test Data and Fill Weight

What has been measured, by which laboratory, on what date, and against what label. Including where no test exists. This page is a record of testing, not a claim about it.

What a usable lab report has to contain

1
A named laboratory
Not “third-party tested.” The lab is named, so the report can be checked against the lab that issued it.
2
Measured content against label
How many milligrams the vial actually contained, next to what the label says. This is the number most reports leave out.
3
Identity, by method
Which analytical method established the compound is what the label says, stated rather than implied.
4
A lot number that matches the vial
A report certifies one lot. Without a lot number printed on both the report and the vial, it cannot be tied to the material in hand.

Why fill weight, and not purity

Purity is close to universal in this category. Reports across the market cluster at roughly 99 percent, which makes it a poor way to tell suppliers apart. Content weight does not cluster. Published third-party data across the wider market includes results at 44.8 percent under label and 35.4 percent under label, and one lot returning 13.07mg in one vial and 9.47mg in another from the same batch.

That is the measurement worth publishing, and it is the one almost nobody does.

Reports on file

Every laboratory report currently held for material in the Etched Research supply chain. Measured content is compared to the labeled amount. A blank means no report exists, not that a test was passed.

Four things this page is not

1
Not lot-matched
The reports above carry no lot number. They describe material tested on the date shown, not the specific vial in any given shipment.
2
Not commissioned by us
These were ordered and paid for by the supplier, not by Etched Research. Etched-commissioned testing has not been run yet.
3
Not complete
Most of the catalog has no report at all, which is why those rows are on the table rather than left off it.
4
Not a purity program
One report above carries a purity figure. The rest tested identity and content only, because purity was not part of what was requested.

Notes on the data

  • The GHK-Cu figure in GLOW is unresolved. The report shows 56.76mg of copper complex containing 50.02mg GHK. Whether the 50mg label refers to the complex or to GHK content changes the result from roughly +13.5% to roughly +0.04%. It is listed as unresolved rather than reported as either.
  • Purity was not requested on three of the four reports. One states it directly in its scope: identity and amount, purity not included. That is a gap in what was ordered, not a failed test.
  • Report documents are not posted. Each one names its manufacturer on the face of the page. Etched Research does not publish supplier identity, so the measurements are reproduced here rather than the documents.

What happens next

Lot identifiers are assigned to inventory on arrival. Material from those lots is then submitted for independent analysis, and the results post to this page against the lot number, so a report can be matched to a vial. Laboratories under evaluation for that work include Janoshik Analytical and Freedom Diagnostics, selected against the four criteria at the top of this page rather than by name.

Until a lot has been tested under Etched Research, this page shows what the supply chain has measured and nothing further.

For research use only. Not for human consumption. Nothing on this page is a claim about any compound’s effect, safety, or suitability for any purpose.
