Research at a Glance
  • What it is: BPC-157 and TB-500 (specified as full-length thymosin beta-4) pre-blended in one lyophilized vial, 20mg total. One vial, not a kit.
  • Research areas: tendon and ligament repair (BPC-157), wound closure and cell migration (TB-500), and new blood vessel growth in tissue repair models (both).
  • Evidence level: Mostly preclinical animal work, plus a few small human trials of full-length thymosin beta-4. One 2026 rat study gave the two together. No human study has tested the pair.
  • The short version: This is two separately studied compounds in one vial. Almost all of the work is in animal models, with a little early human data on full-length thymosin beta-4, the form of TB-500 this vial is specified as. The one rat study that gave both together found the pair did no better than either one alone.

What it is

This vial holds two separate peptides, BPC-157 and TB-500, freeze-dried together as one powder, 10mg of each and 20mg in total. The TB-500 in it is specified as full-length thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid peptide. No lab report on file confirms full-length over the short fragment. Both are also sold on their own.

What the evidence is

No study has tested this pre-blended vial, and no human study has tested the two together. One published rat study gave both together after an Achilles tendon repair, and the pair did no better than either one alone (Biçer et al., Joint Diseases and Related Surgery, 2026). The rest of this page is research on each compound on its own.

Component Kind of evidence Our pages
BPC-157 Almost all animal and cell. A 2025 review of 36 musculoskeletal studies found 35 in animals or cells and one human chart review with no control group. No controlled human trial Product · Research
TB-500 (full-length thymosin beta-4) Animal and cell studies, plus small Phase 2 human trials. The completed 72-person dry eye trial missed both of its main measures, and a corneal wound trial stopped early Product · Research
Both together One rat study, 32 rats in four groups of eight. The combined group showed no added benefit over either compound alone Research

Lab reference

Janoshik Analytical tested this blend from supplier stock in June 2026. It is listed on the lab reference page as the BPC-157 + TB-500 Blend 20mg. The sample measured 12.68 mg of BPC-157 and 11.42 mg of TB-500, against 10 mg of each on the label. Purity was not requested for this test, so it gives no purity figure. See it on the lab reference page →

What that report does not cover: it is a reference test of the blend from supplier stock, not a test of the vial in your order. No endotoxin, sterility or heavy-metal result is published for it.

Questions about the BPC-157 + TB-500 blend

What is the BPC-157 + TB-500 blend?

The BPC-157 + TB-500 blend is two peptides, BPC-157 and TB-500, freeze-dried together in one vial, 20mg in total. The TB-500 in it is specified as full-length thymosin beta-4, which no lab report on file has confirmed. It is one vial, not a kit.

What’s the difference between BPC-157 and TB-500?

BPC-157 and TB-500 are two different peptides with separate research histories. BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide whose sequence comes from a gastric-juice protein, studied almost entirely in rats and cells. The TB-500 here is specified as full-length thymosin beta-4, 43 amino acids, which has reached small Phase 2 human trials. The one rat study that gave both together found no added benefit over either alone (Biçer et al., Joint Diseases and Related Surgery, 2026).

Where can I buy the BPC-157 + TB-500 blend for research?

Etched Research sells the BPC-157 + TB-500 blend on this page as one 20mg vial of lyophilized powder, for laboratory research use only, shipped to US addresses. Janoshik Analytical tested the blend from supplier stock in June 2026 for amount only, and the result is on the lab reference page.

Is either compound an approved drug?

No. We found no approval for BPC-157 from the FDA or any other regulator. Full-length thymosin beta-4 reached Phase 2 trials but no approval. Etched Research sells this blend as a research compound for laboratory use only. It is not for human use.
