At Etched Research, we take quality seriously and stand behind every product we ship. Because our products are research-grade peptides and research chemicals , materials that are temperature-sensitive, handled under controlled conditions, and supplied for single-use laboratory research , we maintain a final sale policy in most cases. This page explains exactly when we will and will not issue a refund or replacement.
Research Use Only Acknowledgment: By purchasing from Etched Research, you confirm that all products are purchased for in-vitro laboratory and research use only, and not for human consumption. This acknowledgment is a condition of all sales.
General Policy: Final Sale
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. Research peptides and research chemicals are perishable, temperature-sensitive, and intended for controlled laboratory environments. Once a product leaves our facility, we cannot verify how it has been stored, handled, or used.
We do not accept returns of any product under any circumstances. We do not offer refunds or replacements based on:
- Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
- Ordering the wrong product or quantity
- Delay in transit caused by the carrier
- Failure to read product specifications, COA details, or usage information before purchasing

Exceptions: When We Will Issue a Refund or Replacement
We recognize that problems occasionally arise that are outside your control. Atlas will issue a refund or send a replacement shipment in the following circumstances:
1. Product Arrived Damaged or Compromised
If your order arrives visibly damaged , including broken vials, compromised packaging, evidence of leakage, or signs of temperature exposure due to a shipping failure , we will issue a replacement or refund at our discretion.
2. Wrong Product Shipped
If we shipped you a product different from what you ordered (wrong peptide, wrong quantity, or wrong concentration), we will correct the error by shipping the correct product or issuing a full refund for the affected item.
3. Product Fails to Meet COA Purity Specifications
If a product you received fails to meet the purity specifications stated in the Certificate of Analysis provided at time of purchase, and you can document this failure through third-party laboratory testing, we will issue a refund or replacement for the affected product.
We are committed to product quality and will take all documented quality failures seriously.
How to Request a Refund or Replacement
If you believe your order qualifies under one of the exceptions above, contact us as soon as possible. Here is what to do:
1. Email us at orders@etchedresearch.com within 7 days of confirmed delivery
2. Use the subject line: “Refund/Replacement Request , Order #[Your Order Number]”
3. Include the following in your email:
– Your order number
– A clear description of the issue
– Photographs of the damaged or incorrect product, including packaging (required for damage claims)
– Documentation of purity failure, if applicable (lab test results)
Requests submitted after 7 days of delivery may not be eligible for review. We reserve the right to request additional information or documentation before approving a refund or replacement.
How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the order.
- **Credit/debit card refunds:** Processed within 5–7 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the credit to appear on your statement.
- **Zelle and Venmo refunds:** Returned to the originating account within 5–7 business days of approval.
- **Cryptocurrency refunds:** Due to the irreversible nature of cryptocurrency transactions, refunds for orders paid via crypto (NOWPayments) are issued as **store credit only**. Store credit has no expiration date and can be applied to any future order.
Partial refunds may be issued when only a portion of an order is affected.
Shipping Costs
Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where Etched Research made an error , such as shipping the wrong product. If a return shipment is required (which is rare given our no-return policy), any return shipping arrangements will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Opened or Reconstituted Products
No refunds or replacements will be issued for any product that has been opened, reconstituted, diluted, mixed, or otherwise used. Once a product seal has been broken, we have no way to assess its condition, storage history, or handling. This policy is firm and applies without exception.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled only if they have not yet been fulfilled and shipped. To request a cancellation, email orders@etchedresearch.com immediately after placing your order. Once an order has been processed and handed to the carrier, it cannot be cancelled.
