Etched Research sells research-grade chemical compounds intended exclusively for in vitro laboratory and research use by qualified researchers, research professionals, or persons affiliated with research institutions. Products sold by Etched Research are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for any medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, cosmetic, or veterinary purpose. They are not drugs, medical devices, dietary supplements, or cosmetics, and are not intended for human or animal consumption, ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical use, or any in vivo administration.

By placing an order with Etched Research, the buyer represents and warrants that:

  • The buyer is at least 21 years of age.
  • The buyer is a qualified researcher, research professional, or affiliated with a research institution with a legitimate need to obtain these compounds for in vitro research purposes.
  • The buyer will use the products solely for in vitro research purposes and will not consume, ingest, inject, inhale, apply topically, or otherwise administer them to humans or animals.
  • The buyer will not resell, redistribute, or supply the products for human or veterinary use.
  • The buyer will store, handle, and dispose of the products in accordance with applicable safety and regulatory standards for research chemicals.
  • The buyer assumes full responsibility for ensuring that purchase, possession, and use of these products is lawful in the buyer’s jurisdiction.

Etched Research reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order at its sole discretion if there is reason to believe these representations are inaccurate or if the products may be used in violation of these Terms.

No Medical Advice. Nothing on this website, in any product description, research article, or communication from Etched Research constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information published in our Research Library is provided for educational and reference purposes for qualified researchers only and is not intended as guidance for human use. Buyers and visitors should consult a licensed medical professional for any medical questions, conditions, or concerns.

Buyer Attestation Recorded at Checkout. Etched Research records each buyer’s checkbox confirmations of age, researcher status, and research-use-only intent at the time of purchase. This record is retained as part of the order transaction record.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or placing an order. By accessing etchedresearch.com or purchasing any product from Etched Research, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use this site or place an order.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Buyer,” “you,” or “your”) and Etched Research (“Etched Research,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a US-based company operating at etchedresearch.com. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of our website.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Your continued use of the site or placement of an order following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. 2. Research Use Only , Important Notice

This section is a material condition of sale. Read it carefully.

All products sold by Etched Research are sold exclusively as research-grade chemicals for in-vitro laboratory and research use only. They are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any other regulatory authority for human or veterinary use, and they are not intended for human or animal consumption, injection, ingestion, or any form of in-vivo administration whatsoever.

By placing an order, you expressly represent and warrant that:

1. You are a qualified researcher, scientist, or other professional purchasing products for legitimate laboratory or scientific research purposes.

2. You are purchasing these products for in-vitro research use only , meaning use in a controlled laboratory setting, outside of a living organism.

3. You will not use, administer, consume, inject, or otherwise introduce any product purchased from Etched Research into any human body, including your own, or into any animal.

4. You understand that the research and handling of peptides and research chemicals may involve risks, and you have the necessary training, qualifications, and facilities to handle these materials safely and legally.

5. You will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and institutional policies governing the purchase, possession, storage, handling, and use of research chemicals in your jurisdiction.

6. You will not purchase any product with the intent to resell it for human consumption or distribute it in violation of applicable law.

7. You assume full and sole responsibility for any use of the products you purchase from Etched Research and for compliance with all laws applicable to that use.

Etched Research makes no representations that our products are safe or appropriate for any use other than legitimate in-vitro scientific research. Any use of our products outside of this context is at the sole risk and liability of the purchaser.

3. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from Etched Research. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order we have reason to believe was placed by a minor.

4. Product Descriptions and Specifications

All products sold by Etched Research are described as accurately as possible, including peptide sequence, molecular weight, purity grade, and other relevant specifications. Products are accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) from third-party laboratory testing confirming purity and identity to the extent specified.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price in effect at the time your order is placed will be honored.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (processed through our payment gateway)
  • Zelle
  • Venmo
  • Cryptocurrency (processed through NOWPayments)

Payment is due in full at the time of order. We reserve the right to cancel any order for which payment is not successfully received or verified. For Zelle and Venmo payments, orders will be held until payment is confirmed.

Etched Research is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or transaction fees charged by your bank, payment platform, or cryptocurrency exchange.

6. Order Fulfillment and Shipping

We ship domestically within the United States only. We do not currently ship internationally.

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days of confirmed payment. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order weight, dimensions, and destination. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control. If a package is lost in transit, contact us and we will work with the carrier to investigate and resolve the issue.

Shipping to addresses where the purchase, possession, or use of research chemicals is restricted or prohibited by law is not permitted. By providing a shipping address, you represent that you are legally permitted to receive these products at that location.

7. Returns and Refunds

Please review our Refund Policy at etchedresearch.com/refund-policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

In general, research chemicals are final sale. Refunds or replacements are considered only in limited circumstances , including damaged shipments, incorrect products shipped, or documented failure to meet COA purity specifications. Opened or reconstituted products are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances.

8. Prohibited Uses

By using our site and purchasing our products, you agree that you will not:

  • Use, consume, inject, ingest, or administer any product to yourself, any other person, or any animal
  • Purchase products for the purpose of human or veterinary consumption
  • Resell products without prior written authorization from Etched Research
  • Misrepresent your qualifications, research purpose, or intended use of products when placing an order
  • Use products in a manner that violates any applicable federal, state, or local law
  • Use our website for any fraudulent, deceptive, or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or servers

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate cancellation of your order, termination of your account, and referral to appropriate authorities.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on etchedresearch.com , including text, product descriptions, images, graphics, logos, and site design , is the property of Etched Research or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our site without our express written permission. You may print or download content for your personal, non-commercial use only.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR WEBSITE AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ETCHED RESEARCH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any product information or content on our site.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ETCHED RESEARCH AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR WEBSITE OR PRODUCTS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR PRODUCTS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Etched Research and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of our website or products; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) any misuse of products purchased from us.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of our website or products shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Sheridan, Wyoming, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Etched Research regarding your use of our website and purchase of our products, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
