What is Etched Research?
Etched Research is a United States-based reseller of research-use-only peptides. Where an independent laboratory report exists for a compound, the measurements are published on the COA page, including the compounds we hold no report for. Etched Research LLC is a registered Wyoming company and sells all compounds strictly as materials for laboratory and research use.
Are Etched products tested by an independent lab, and who tests them?
Not all of them. The analytical reports we hold were commissioned by the supply chain rather than by Etched Research, and they cover some compounds and not others. Where a report exists, Janoshik Analytical measured the amount of peptide in the vial, and the purity where it was requested. Etched names the lab rather than using a vague “third-party tested” label, and has its own independent lab order in progress. Those results will be published on the COA page when they land.
How do I check the lab result for my compound?
The COA page at etchedresearch.com/coa lists each compound with a published independent result: the laboratory, the date, the measured amount against the label and, where it was requested, the measured purity, plus the compounds where no report exists yet. Those are reference tests of the compound from current supply. They are not matched to the vial in your order, and no report on this site should be read as a test of a specific vial.
What purity standard does Etched hold?
Etched does not state one purity figure for the whole catalog. Where an independent laboratory report exists for a compound, the measured purity and the measured amount are published on the COA page with the lab and the date. A number from a named report is something you can check. A catalog-wide percentage is not.
Where does Etched ship?
Etched ships within the United States only. There is no international shipping. Orders are fulfilled domestically from within the USA.
How are orders packaged?

How should research compounds be stored?

How do I read a Certificate of Analysis?
A Certificate of Analysis usually lists the compound name, a lot or batch number, the testing lab, the date, and the measured results, such as purity and the amount of compound in the vial. To read one, confirm the lab is named, check the date, and read each result against the label. A report describes the material that lab tested. It only describes the vial in your hand if the two carry the same lot number. The reports Etched holds are listed on the COA page.
